Course Layout

Hole 1: Par 4 The School

  • Blue- 346m
  • White- 340m
  • Yellow- 333m

Standing on the tee you want to aim for the chimney on the school in the distance. A good drive will land in the corner of the dog-leg fairway. A good mid-iron shot is required up to a deceptive elevated green. This green has a little more break than you think.Top

Hole 2: Par 4 Tahuna

  • Blue- 299m
  • White- 277m
  • Yellow- 272m

A straight forward tee shot down the fairway and then a solid second shot to a small elevated green. The green has a false front so play to the middle or back of the green so your ball does not roll back down off the front of the green.Top

Hole 3: Par 4 Pagoda

  • Blue- 280m
  • White- 259m
  • Yellow- 257m

A short but testy par 4 with a small two-tier green that is only five paces wide in the middle. Miss the green left, right, short and long and a great touch is required to get up and down.Top

Hole 4: Par 3 Achilles

  • Blue-159m
  • White- 153m
  • Yellow- 148m

Play to the front left of the green and let the ball follow the contour of the green and it will be an easy par 3. Try to attack this green and any score is possible! Stay away from the grass hollow on the left - you'll have to stand on the ball to find it! Top

Hole 5: Par 4 Khyber Pass

  • Blue- 343m
  • White- 324m
  • Yellow- 318m

A par 4 that plays tougher than it appears. Hit your second shot up through the valley onto a very long green. Watch out for three putts! Top

Hole 6: Par 4 White Island

  • Blue- 344m
  • White- 336m
  • Yellow- 329m

What a nice view! A tempting tee shot to take off some of the dog-leg. Play the fairway as you see it and then be respectful of the green and par is easy. Miss the green and par becomes a challenge.Top

Hole 7: Par 3 The Quarry

  • Blue- 194m
  • White- 177m
  • Yellow- 147m

Just a long par 3! This will test even the best players and par is always a good score here. Take enough club and play to the left side of the green.Top

Hole 8: Par 5 Tomahawk

  • Blue- 454m
  • White- 437m
  • Yellow- 397m

This hole is a great par 5. A straightforward drive but the "blind" second shot holds the key and it will be dictated by the wind conditions. The top of the dog-leg turns about 90 degrees. An interesting green that will test your short game so don't go long. Top

Hole 9: Par 4 Lawyers Head

  • Blue- 353m
  • White- 335m
  • Yellow- 322m

The picture hole! This is a world-class tee shot with a stunning outlook - don't slip! The wind will dictate this hole and a solid tee shot is the key. Aim right of centre of the green and enjoy your two putts for par. What an awesome viewTop

Hole 10: Par 3 The Crater

  • Blue- 131m
  • White- 121m
  • Yellow- 107m

An under-rated par 3 that many golfers play short. In trying to avoid the bunker, players will tend to play to the left. Miss the green long and left and it is a tough par. There is no easy three-footer on this green!Top

Hole 11: Par 5 Downhill

  • Blue- 479m
  • White- 454m
  • Yellow- 452m

A good par 5 and for the perfect tee shot you want to hit down the right-hand side of the fairway. Watch the green - bunkers guard the green short and right! Top

Hole 12: Par 4 The Downs

  • Blue- 400m
  • White- 392m
  • Yellow- 384m

A strong par 4 that will test the best players. Hit a good drive down the left side of the fairway. Play a little right and you will hit the slope and bounce down into the hollows making for a very difficult second shot. Again take an extra club when you play into the green. Don't miss to the left or you will have a difficult pitch shot!Top

Hole 13: Par 4 The Gap

  • Blue- 351m
  • White- 317m
  • Yellow- 274m

Dog-leg left hole where a good drive will finish to the right side of the fairway. Aim for the pink palace on the hill in the distance. Try to be up with your second shot, but not long!Top

Hole 14: Par 3 Sherriffs

  • Blue- 182m
  • White- 148m
  • Yellow- 137m

With a good iron shot this is a routine par 3. Aim for the right side of the green.Top

Hole 15: Par 5 St Kilda

  • Blue- 508m
  • White- 473m
  • Yellow- 386m

The wind will dictate the score on this hole. Downwind it is an easy par 5, into the wind and par becomes difficult. The cross bunkers 70-metres short of the green can make the hole interesting.Top

Hole 16: Par 4 Pine Ridge

  • Blue- 290m
  • White- 285m
  • Yellow- 278m

Look up the fairway and aim left of the green at the 17th tee. The fairway slopes away to the right. Being up on the left side of the fairway will make the second shot easier and set you up for a straight forward par 4.Top

Hole 17: Par 4 Tannocks

  • Blue- 405m
  • White- 351m
  • Yellow- 326m

The toughest hole on the golf course! Long hitters can go straight over the hill. Shorter hitters go right, around the hill. This is a tough second shot so hit an extra club as the hole plays a little longer than you think. Watch out for the out-of-bounds on the left. The green is 50metres long so hit your first putt close. Top

Hole 18: Par 4 Tally Ho

  • Blue- 252m
  • White- 240m
  • Yellow- 220m

The wind will be the master on this hole! A short but testing par 4. A good tee shot is aimed at the end of the clubhouse. A short shot into the green will then set you up for a good birdie or easy par to finish!Top
